Caramelised Onion Recipe

Cooking Instructions
Ingredients:
- Gedera & Co. Caramalised Onion Home Cooking Kit
- 2 tbs coconut oil(or any other oil
Method:
1.Thinly slice onions (or you can use the food processor)
2.In a Non stick frying pan heat 2 tbs coconut oil or oil of your choice.
3.Add the aromatics and fry 1 minutes until fragrant
4.Add the onions cook for 8 minutes on high - don’t forget to stir.
5.Add the spice blend, reduce heat to low - add 2 tbs of water, cook for another 4 minutes. Add 2-3 table spoons of water if onion is a little dry.
6. Take off the heat and rest for 5 mins.
You can serve this with Milk Rice, Roti or Hoppers. It’s also great in Jaffles with Cheese, Side with Stake or Grilled Chicken, Pizza topping or even sprinkle on eggs on toast.
Note: Cool down and refrigerate, and will stay for 2 weeks in the fridge.
Note: Pandan leaves are edible but they are tough and fibrous. They add an amazing aroma but are not pleasant to eat. Please remove them before enjoying the dish.
