Green Bean Curry Recipe

Cooking Instructions
Ingredients:
- Gedera & Co. Green Bean Curry Home Cooking Kit
- 500g of Green beans
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbs coconut oil (or any other oil)
- Onion thinly sliced
Method:
- Cut green beeans diaganally in to 3 cm pieces. (Refer the video for details)
- Heat oil in a heavy based pan and fry the aromatics and the onions for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the spice blend mix and cook for another minute.
- Add the beans and 1 cup of water. Cook in medium heat for 7-8 minutes.
- Check if the beans are tender (not mushy), if they are not, cook for another 2 minutes.
- Mix the coconute milk powder with ¼ cup hot water and add it to the beans.
- Cook for another 2 minutes and take off the heat.
- Taste and add salt only if required.
Best served with warm rice or as a side with grilled fish or chicken.
Note: Pandan leaves are edible but they are tough and fibrous. They add an amazing aroma but are not pleasant to eat. Please remove them before enjoying the dish.
